Aveson Charter Schools offer two unique independent study options: our ACIS Home Study for TK-8 and Flex Studies for high school.  ACIS functions like a typical homeschool charter option (instructional funds, freedom of choice in curriculum, etc) except that we are hybrid program that offers a strong community and optional classes on our beautiful campuses in Altadena.  Our Flex Studies program is also a hybrid where students attend classes 2-3 days per week and then complete assignments either from home or from campus as they choose.  This flexibility allows students to pursue internships, dual enrollment, personal passions, etc.
